Berkel

Slices that sell the salumi before the first taste

For delis, salumerie, trattorias, and hotel banquet kitchens where the slice is the presentation. Berkel has defined slicing since 1898 — we sell the machines, sharpen the blades, and service them with genuine parts.

The lineup

Berkel slicing equipment we distribute and service. We show only real manufacturer and GSI photography — cards carry the GSI mark until Berkel’s imagery is placed.

Placement & care notes

Counter position

Slicers want a stable, level counter with clearance for the carriage travel — measured before delivery.

Electrical

Standard single-phase service for the 330M class; exact draw per model on the quote. Flywheel models need no power at all.

Blade discipline

A dull blade tears instead of slices and works the motor harder. Sharpening cadence set by what you slice and how much.

Safety systems

Guards, plate locks, and carriage stops are inspected at every PM visit — documented each time.

Questions we get weekly

The 330M covers daily deli and prep volume with speed and consistency. The flywheel is for charcuterie programs where paper-thin hand slicing is part of the product. Many salumerie run both — one in back, one at the counter.

Depends on volume and product — cured meats dull a blade faster than cheese. We set the cadence from observed wear at PM visits rather than guessing a fixed interval.

We do — genuine Berkel blades, guards, and parts, fitted by the same certified team that sells the machines. Request service any time.

Put a Berkel on the counter

Tell us your volume and your menu. We’ll spec the right slicer — and keep it sharp for as long as you run it.
